Raw materials and commodities

Since the most dominant sector on Nia is the heavy industry, the basis of economy is the constant flow of raw materials. These materials can be divided into two groups: minerals and plant materials. The occurrence of materials and plants differ, some ores are easy to find, some take more time to find.

Raw materials

Heavy industry is based on the exploitation of these underground and organic minerals. Both mining and harvesting requires special tools to perform.

Minerals

Titan ore
The most essential resource for industry. Though, titan ore is easily available Nian-wide, pure titanium still needs to be extracted from the ore.

HDT
Planet Nia also hides an organic-based liquid, HDT, which is quite similar but more efficient than petroleum on Earth. Special components make it a versatile raw material for industrial purposes.

Stermonit
This crystal-structured raw material is needed in almost every kind of industry, from exploitation to modern warfare, due to its versatility.

Imentium
The lightest and also the firmest metal known, can be retrieved from imentium. The weight reducing effect of this material is used to create heavier robots.

Liquizit
Basic commodity of high-tech equipment, the viscous metal, liquizit can be extracted right under from the bottom ground layer.

Epriton
Plate tectonics and ultra-high temperature often create natural alloys with special abilities. This rare and useful ore is one of them.

Variants and isotopes of minerals

The altered versions of common minerals appear randomly during exploitation, you cannot search for them directly. You can transform these variants into common minerals in the recycling plant.

Titan-50
Titan-50 is a rare ore containing the heavier isotope of common titanium.

H2DT
Its slightly expanded molecular structure makes H2DT an excellent, versatile organic energy source.

Stermid
Extraordinary pressure and heat forged the common stermonit into an exceptionally pure crystal.

Imentid
Due to its special crystal structure, useful minerals are located more densely, than in the common imentium ore.

Tri-liquizit
This versatile, but fairly unstable metal consists of three liquizit molecules merged together.

Dyrepriton
Compared to common epriton, the special dyrepriton consists of 3 different metals, but the mineral conserved its useful abilities.

Organic materials

Helioptris
The most common domesticated plant on Nia. Helioptris is a result of genetic engineering, and is mainly used for manufacturing plastics and explosives.

Triandlus
Climbing plant, used for manufacturing basic bioelectric instruments and new energy sources.

Variants of organic materials

Helioquid
At the final stage of the harvestation process, the harvester module slightly compresses the extruded material, sometimes causing the solid starch to transform into helioquid.

Tricarine
During a long natural process, the triandlus can transform into a more dense material, tricarine. The radiation caused by the harvester module can sometimes artificially speed up the process.

Commodities and their components

Exploited materials still need to be refined into usable commodities.
